Life in a British school
Hi, everybody.
My name is Nancy. I am in Year 8 at Woodland School near London.It is a mixed school. Boys and girls have lessons together.Among all mysubjects.l like French best. Learning foreign languages is fun.
Our school has a Reading Week every year. During the week.wecan borrow more books from the school library. We can also bring in booksand magazines from home. I often read more books than my classmates.Near the end of the week,we discuss the books with our classmates inclass. Time seems to go faster when we are reading interesting books.

Every Monday. I go to the Buddy Club. In the club, olderstudents help new students learn more about the school. My friend Tony isin the 12th grade. He often listens carefully to my problems and offers mehelp.He is my hero.
We have different classes every day. On Friday afteoon. ourschool ends earlier than usual. My friends and I often do sports together.
Twice a week . I play baseball after school. I love this game and.practice hard every time. Our team won two games last month.
